Scania K230UB Alexander Enviro 300

The Scania K230UB Alexander Enviro 300 was the second generation of Enviro300's to be put into production. It was in 2007 that the first of these buses entered service, under Stagecoach. What made the 2nd gen different from the first was that these buses ran purely on Diesel, unlike the ADL version. What also made this bus different was that these buses had a different type of engine, sounding a cross between the original Enviro 300 and a Dart Pointer 2. 2011 was the buses big year when Stagecoach ordered 50 of these buses. From 2012 onward these types of buses have had they're big showroom when in 2012, Stagecoach ordered 28 and another 28 in 2014/15. There are now over a 1000 of these buses in service with Stagecoach.

Alexander Dennis Enviro 300/Euro 5 (MAN 10.2 & Volvo B7RLE)

The Alexander Dennis Enviro 300/Euro 5 was formed from it's predecessor the TransBus Enviro 300 Dart. This bus was the second type of Enviro 300 made. It started out based on the Volvo B7RLE chassis. The Volvo are the most common and noticeable, especially in the South of England. Later on in 2007, MAN introduced their version of the Enviro 300 and now a 1000 MAN Enviro 300's are in service with Stagecoach alone.

Alexander Dennis Enviro 400/Euro 5

The Alexander Dennis Enviro first went into production in 2005 under TransBus International, until it's fall and reform as Alexander Dennis in 2006, when it was continued. The E400 was the only member of the Enviro range to be continued once TransBus reformed as ADL. Like the other Enviro buses, this came as complete, meaning that the chassis and all was all done. However the body is also available in Volvo B7TL/B9TL and Scania N230UD Chassis.

Optare Solo SR

The Original Optare Solo has been in production since 2007. The name "Solo" is derived from "So Low" Because the stop is just 200mm when fully knelt. Summer 2012 saw the release of the New Optare Solo SR. These buses kept a lot of features from the original Solo but have had slight modifications from the Versa such as the curved windscreen and destination board under the swept roof. The SR is slightly longer, but retained it's very unique feature of the front wheels in front of the doors.

Alexander Dennis Enviro 400/Euro 6 (MMC)

The Enviro 400 MMC is not all that dissimilar from the Euro 5. The most prominent changes are the front of bus, with a new design to the bodywork. The MMC is also longer than the Euro 5 and the MMC is also fitted with a Euro 6 engine.
